Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Karaöz
Your journey begins with a transfer from Antalya (Town center or Airport) to Karaöz. To make the most of the day, we recommend arriving in Antalya by noon time so you may have the chance to stop and visit the ancient site of Phaselis, a stunning Lycian site along the way. After Phaselis, we’ll continue to Karaöz. We’ll stop for a snack on our way, a delicious dinner awaiting you at our local accommodation in Karaöz. First night’s accmmodation in Karaoz where you can swim as well if have time.
Throughout the program your main luggages will be transferred and you’ll only need to carry a small daily backpack during the hikes.
Day 2: Karaöz – Gelidonya Lighthouse – Adrasan (23 km)
Your hike begins from Karaöz on the iconic Lycian Way route via iconic spot, Gelidonya Lighthouse. This remote and scenic route offers breathtaking sea views as you make your way to Adrasan. Accommodation and dinner will be in Adrasan, where your luggages will be transferred to. With no settlements along this route, you’ll carry a packed lunch prepared by your guesthouse.
If time permits, you’ll have the opportunity for a refreshing swim in Adrasan.
Day 3: Adrasan – Olympos – Çıralı (19 km)
After breakfast, you’ll begin from Adrasan, passing via Mt.Musa before descending to the ancient city of Olympos. After Olympos, route concludes with a flat coastal walk to Çıralı, where you’ll stay in a family-run guesthouse just minutes from the beach. This is your last day by the sea, as tomorrow’s hike takes you to higher altitudes with stunning views.
Day 4: Çıralı – Chimaera – Ulupınar – Beycik (16 km)
Today’s hike passes from the eternal flames of Chimaera (Yanartaş), where ancient Lycian myths of fire-breathing monster Chimaera and killed by Bellerophontes. After descending to Ulupınar for a lunch break, you’ll ascend to Beycik, reaching an altitude of 900 meters. Accommodation and dinner will be in Beycik.
Day 5: Beycik – Mt. Tahtalı – Yayla Kuzdere (18 km)
One of the favorite routes of Lycian Way passing from the slopes of Mt. Tahtalı via endemic cedar trees. Your hike begins from Beycik. You’ll ascend till Erenkolu Pass (1,750 m), one of the highest points on the Lycian Way, offering unparalleled views of the sea and mountains.
There’s an option to make the summit of Mt. Tahtalı (2,365 meters) rather doing the incline for Yayla Kuzdere. Please ask for this as summit option requires a different transfer operation. In both cases your accommodation and dinner will be in Yayla Kuzdere at a local spot.
Day 6: Yayla Kuzdere – Gedelme – Göynük Yayla (15 km)
This moderately challenging hike begins with a walk from Yayla Kuzdere through scenic landscapes to Gedelme, where you’ll stop for lunch. From there, the trail leads to Göynük Yayla, where you’ll accommodate. Accommodation and dinner will be in Göynük Yayla.
Day 7: Göynük Yayla – Göynük Canyon (14 km)
Known as the “Canyon Pass,” this route follows a streambed through Göynük Canyon. The path is manageable without special equipment, and the stunning scenery makes it an unforgettable experience. You may need you take off your shoes at two spots.
Accommodation and dinner will be in a family-run guesthouse in Göynük.
Day 8: Göynük – Hisarçandır (24 km)
The final stretch takes you to Hisarçandır, offering incredible views of Antalya as you ascend. A break at Elmayanı Plateau allows you to reflect on your journey before descending to Hisarçandır. Another iconic route. Accommodation and dinner will be in Hisarçandır, marking the end of your Lycian Way adventure.
You’ll be transferred to Antalya for your final night’s accommodation or you may stay at a local in Hisarcandir as they may not be there all the time. You have an option to choose.

Day 9: Departure from Antalya
After breakfast, you’ll check out and transfer to Antalya Airport. If your flight is later in the day, you can explore Antalya, shop, buy souvenirs, visit Antalya Museum or relax in the old town. Your transfer will be arranged according to your flight schedule. You may extend your stay to do more in Antalya or we may offer you to experience some parts of St.Paul Trail.

Participation Limitations: To ensure a comfortable and efficient experience, the number of participants is limited. Please consider this when planning your trip.
Pre-Booking Options: Pre-booking is available for participants arriving before or after the program dates to help with accommodation and logistics.
Arrival and Departure Information: We recommend sharing your arrival and departure details (dates and times) with our team in advance. This information is necessary to arrange transfers to the city center or airport.
Optional Transfers: For participants who wish to stop walking at a certain point, optional transfers can be arranged at a suitable location. Please note that this incurs an additional cost to be covered by the participant.
Clothing and Equipment: A detailed list of mandatory and optional clothing and equipment will be provided separately before the program.
Health Conditions: Participants with allergies or chronic conditions are required to inform our team during registration to ensure proper precautions are taken. This activity is not recommended for individuals with conditions such as high blood pressure, asthma, rheumatism, or epilepsy, as it may be difficult to manage emergencies in nature. Please consult with our team in advance if you have concerns.
Route and Weather Conditions: Mandatory route changes may occur due to weather conditions, such as heavy rain, strong winds, or storms. Final decisions will be made by the guide, and participants are expected to comply with these changes, including modifications to boat tours.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Due to the limited availability of accommodations in local and remote areas. Many of the lodgings we work with are small, family-run businesses with only a few rooms, making it difficult to cancel or rebook. To secure your spot, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure. However, if the program is canceled by us, the full pre-payment will be refunded.
