This is a draft program designed to be customised based on your preferences and your fitness level. We provide a detailed itinerary, including the names of accommodations, locals, and lunch spots, to ensure clarity and comfort during your journey. Programs that contain site visits we always suggest you to make these programs guided rather than self-guided.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Selcuk, Ephesus site visit and hike up to the city walls
Journey begins in the morning at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. After gathering, we are heading to Selçuk (45 mins) and start exploring the magnificent ancient city of Ephesus. Walking through its historic streets, we’ll visit the impressive Terrace Houses, once home to the city’s elite.
If open, we’ll also stop by the Ephesus Experience Museum. After Ephesus we’ll be hiking for a panoramic view of Ephesus from Bülbül Mountain on top of the city walls, a hidden gem. We’ll have lunch on our way overlooking this breathtaking site. The day ends with dinner and accommodation in Selçuk.
Day 2: Şirince – Çamlık Hike (14 km.) and Temple of Artemis, Selçuk Museum and St. John Basilica visits
On Friday, after breakfast, we set off for a hike from the charming village of Şirince, known for its historic architecture and local wines. The scenic trail leads us through forest paths to Çamlık, where we’ll enjoy a lunch. In the afternoon, we immerse ourselves in history with visits to the Temple of Artemis, Selçuk Museum and St. John Basilica. Dinner will be in Şirince, featuring a delightful wine-tasting experience alongside regional specialities.
Day 2: Ancient Ion/Greek City Visits: Didyma Apollo Temple, Miletos, Priene
Saturday is dedicated to exploring the ancient cities of Didyma, Miletus, and Priene. Starting with Miletus, we’ll delve into its rich history, then move on to Didyma to admire the unfinished Temple of Apollo, an ancient oracle site. After lunch in Didyma, we’ll visit grid-planned city of Priene, a city known for its classical architecture. The day concludes with a return to Selçuk for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Çamlık – Virgin Mary’s House Hike (14 km.) and visit to Magnesia
On the final day, Sunday, we embark on a hike from Çamlık to Virgin Mary’s House, following a historic route through beautiful landscapes. Concluding at this significant Christian site adds a special touch to the tour.
After descending to Selçuk for lunch and have some free time, we’ll have a another ancient site visit to Magnesia. After Magnesia we’ll be heading to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, ensuring a smooth departure. Rather than making this tour an ordinary ancient site visits, we are blending hiking and cultural exploration, creating a memorable experience for all in Ephesus region.
The number of days and contents can be adjusted, and this program can be combined or tailored with hikes on the Carian Trail, Hierapolis/Pamukkale/Aphrodisias or Troy/Pergamon programs.
