Day 1 – Maçahel to Şavşat: Leaving the Forested Mountains

After completing your Maçahel experience, begin the journey towards Şavşat via Borçka and Artvin.

Along the way, observe how the landscapes change as we leave the forested valleys and travel into the mountains of northeastern Türkiye.

Depending on travel time and road conditions, we may include short scenic stops or a gentle walk near our destination.

Overnight in the Şavşat area, subject to the confirmed accommodation plan.

Day 2 – Şavşat: Maden, Bazgiret and Village Landscapes

Today, we explore selected village landscapes around Şavşat.

Depending on local access, we may walk in the wider Maden and Bazgiret areas, discovering wooden architecture, mountain scenery and traditional rural environments.

Where arranged in advance, we also include opportunities to enjoy regional food or meet local residents.

We select the final walking route according to the group’s interests, weather and road conditions.

Day 3 – Şavşat to Kars via Ardahan

Continue east through the highland landscapes of Ardahan towards Kars.

Today is primarily a scenic travel day. Nevertheless, suitable stops offer opportunities to appreciate the changing geography between the Black Sea mountains and the Eastern Anatolian plateau.

If the final route and available time allow, we may include a visit to the Boğatepe area, known for its dairy traditions.

However, any organised food experience or producer visit requires advance confirmation.

Day 4 – Ani Archaeological Site and Historic Kars
