Private Service & Group Size

We organise our shore excursions privately for your group. The practical group size may depend on guide availability and vehicle capacity. The destination, marina access and planned activities may also affect group size.

Please provide the number of participants when requesting an excursion. This helps us consider suitable guiding and transportation arrangements from the beginning.

Before Booking

Please send us your proposed date, marina, harbour or expected anchorage, approximate time available ashore and number of participants.

If your sailing itinerary includes several destinations, we recommend sending us the complete route. This allows us to consider guiding, transportation and possible shore experiences across several stops. We can then plan the journey without treating each destination separately.

Vessel & Arrival Information

When available, please provide the name of your yacht, gulet or vessel together with your expected arrival and departure times. If you know the marina, harbour, pier or tender landing point, please include this information as well.

Sailing schedules can change. Please inform us as soon as reasonably possible if your expected arrival time or location changes.

Meeting Points & Marina Access

We will agree on the exact meeting point before the excursion. Depending on local conditions, your guide and arranged vehicle may meet you at a marina or harbour. A pier, tender landing point or another accessible location nearby may also serve as the meeting point.

Vehicles cannot access every marina, pier or anchorage. Where necessary, we may arrange a separate meeting point within walking distance or after your transfer ashore.

Excursion Timing & Return to Your Vessel

We plan your itinerary according to the shore time you provide. We consider driving time, walking time, archaeological site visits, meal stops and the return journey when designing the excursion.

Please tell us the time by which you need to be back at your vessel. Do not provide only the vessel’s scheduled departure time. This allows us to consider an appropriate margin when planning the day.

If your available shore time becomes significantly shorter, we may need to remove or replace some visits or activities.

Changes to Your Sailing Schedule

Weather, sea conditions, sailing decisions or operational circumstances may affect your vessel’s schedule. Your vessel may arrive later, depart earlier, use a different harbour or cancel a planned stop.

If your arrival time or location changes, contact us as soon as possible. We will assess whether the original excursion can still operate or whether we need to adjust the itinerary.

Any additional costs or cancellation conditions resulting from significant schedule changes will depend on the services already confirmed. The booking conditions applicable to your reservation will also apply.

Private Transportation

Where your programme includes private transportation, we select the vehicle according to the number of participants, destination and planned itinerary.

Your confirmed proposal will specify the transportation included in the programme. Additional transfers, waiting time or significant changes outside the agreed programme may involve an additional cost.

The relevant authorities determine opening hours, entrance conditions, ticketing arrangements and access restrictions at museums and archaeological sites. These conditions may change.

Where possible, we take current opening conditions into account when preparing your itinerary. However, unexpected closures or access restrictions may require an alternative visit or adjustment to the programme.

Shore excursions can range from relatively easy cultural visits to programmes involving longer walks. Some excursions may also include uneven archaeological terrain or hiking routes.

Please tell us about any mobility requirements or preferred activity level when requesting your excursion. We can then select experiences that better match your group. We do not assume that one activity level suits everyone.

We recommend comfortable footwear for archaeological sites, villages and walking excursions. Routes involving hiking or rough terrain may require suitable trekking or walking shoes.

During warmer months, sun protection and sufficient drinking water are particularly important. We can provide more specific equipment recommendations when we confirm the itinerary.

Health & Mobility

Please consider the expected walking distance, terrain, temperature and accessibility of the selected excursion. Some archaeological sites and historic settlements have uneven surfaces or steps. Walking routes may also include steep sections or areas with limited vehicle access.

If you have a medical condition, allergy, mobility limitation or another circumstance that may affect participation, please seek appropriate medical advice where necessary. Please also inform us about information relevant to the services we provide.

Cancellation, Deposit & Refund Policy

Where your confirmed booking conditions specify that a deposit or pre-payment is non-refundable, those conditions will apply. Exceptions apply in cases of force majeure or where the booking conditions state otherwise.

If we cancel a confirmed excursion and cannot provide the agreed service, we will refund the applicable pre-payment for the service we cancel.
